From Ultrasound video imaging to supcomputer Project

In another related domain we are working on ultrasound video imaging inside the human body to non-invasively scan the tissue inside the aorta. Our SoM on a carrier board within the hand-held device enables interfacing with the ultrasound sensor and processes the data into an image that is visualised real-time via wifi on a monitor or iPad.

And in the supcomputer project that aims to co-design a ground-breaking platform capable of scaling peak performance to the exascale – in simple terms, a computer with the capabilities of the human mind – we are customising our current SoMs so that they can form the core of that machine – some 150,000 SoMs running in parallel.
